About Susie Kundrat,

Susie Kundrat is a life-long well-being enthusiast and nutrition security
advocate. As a Registered Dietitian and educator, Susie uses
her Science to Simple approach with consumers, students, athletes,
and groups to enhance health and well-being. With 35 years of
experience as a nutrition educator and health advocate, Susie recently
launched Eat Move Groove (www.eatmovegroove.com). She is
currently writing her new, easy-to-implement, practical book for
consumers focused on simple, positive ways to eat, move, and
groove coming out in 2024.
Susie earned an A.A. from Waldorf College where she was a three-
sport 1st team all-region athlete, earned a B.S. in Dietetics from
Minnesota State University-Mankato while captaining the basketball
team, and completed an M.S. in Human Nutrition from Iowa State
University. Spending much of her career in sports nutrition and well-
being, Susie worked with athletes to boost sports performance at the
University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, Northwestern University,
Bradley University, the University of Evansville, and the University of
Wisconsin-Milwaukee. She also served as a consultant sports dietitian
with the Milwaukee Bucks and US Speedskating. Â
Susie is currently a Clinical Professor Emeritus in the Joseph J. Zilber
College of Public Health at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. She
is Adjunct Faculty with the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaigns
Food Science and Human Nutrition Department and teaches nutrition
courses at Walla Walla Community College.
